🔹Intro To Public Health
- The Public Health Committee (Abbreviated to PHC hereafter) focuses on informing the general public & student body of GU on health concerns (such as diseases, chronic conditions, poor health practices, etc.)
- The PHC plans medical convoys for charity, whether that means blood donations, or simply collecting money for a trusted charity organization.
- With the previously mentioned, it is imperative that the PHC acts as the bridge between the WHO (World Health Organization) & the EPSF.
⚒️ Responsibilities
- The responsibilities of any current or future members of this committee include:
- Develop new Public Health Campaigns, which includes finding accurate information, creating high quality illustrations, & organizing all of the previous in posters in either digital form—such as Instagram and similar— or otherwise.
- Plan Medical Convoys and to make sure that they go as smoothly and effectively as possible.
- Keep in track with WHO and finding Health days (such as World Health Day or World Patient Safety day) to bring attention to.
